I'll help you export your data to QuickBooks Online, john178.

There are a couple things that you need to check to make sure that you're able to migrate your file.

First, make sure that you're log in to your account using an Internet Explorer browser. The option to export your file over to the Desktop version is only available in a computer running Windows 7 Internet Explorer 11 (32-Bit), or earlier.

Second, you also need to make sure that you're logged in as a Windows admin. Then, run Internet Explorer as an admin even if you're already logged in as a Windows admin. Here's how to do it:

  1. Right-click the Internet Explorer icon, then select Run as Administrator.
  2. Select Allow this operation if prompted.

Once done, log back in and check if you can already see the Export button. Let me share these quick guides for more details:

Also, please take note that there are certain types of data that will not be converted to Desktop.  More details about this are discussed here: Limitations when you convert from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop.

I'll be around if you need anything else.
