I need help canceling my Quickbooks Advanced subscription. I spoke with someone last month who said it would be canceled but is still in fact active. Please call me.

I need help canceling my Quickbooks Advanced subscription. I spoke with someone last month who said it would be canceled but is still in fact active. Please call me.

I'll help you cancel your subscription within your QuickBooks account, joe138.

 

Please note that your data will be available in read-only access for one year after the date of cancelation. Also, check out what happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel? before proceeding with the process.

 

To cancel your subscription:

  1. From the Settings ⚙ icon select Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Billing and subscription tab.
  3. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription.
  4. Choose to Continue to cancel, then select Continue to cancel again (if applicable).
  5. Follow the next steps.
  6. Click Submit and cancel subscription.
  7. Select Got it.

Once done, an email confirmation will be sent to you that you've canceled your online subscription plan.

To cancel your subscription, I'd recommend following the suggested steps that were shared by my colleague above. 

 

With regards to your refund request, I'd suggest reaching out to our customer care support so an agent can check it out and verify the refund. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner and click Talk to a human.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Look for I still need a human and click on it.
  4. Select Get help from a human.
  5. Choose between Chat with usSchedule an appointment, or Have us call you.

@irispastor   Feel free to use the steps already provided above, to talk to someone.  You  have to actually request it from following the steps, not just saying so here in the community.
