Thanks for following this thread, EPH.
The test debit will show in your bank account in 2 business days. It should be a credit and debit for an amount less than $1.00. You can either check your bank statement or contact the financial institution to verify the amount.
Once you have it, let’s go to the Employees page to confirm the test deposit. Let me guide you on how to get there.
- Go to the Payroll menu on the left panel and select Employees.
- Click the Finish payroll tasks link.
- Tap the Verify the test deposit now link.
- Enter the test transaction amount in both boxes without a dollar sign or decimal point. For example, if the amount is $0.42, key in 42 into the boxes.
- Press the OK button.
Here’s an article that outlines the complete steps on how to confirm the test debit for each payroll service: Verify test transaction.
Additionally, these resources will walk you through the steps on how to verify your direct deposit status and create paychecks (DD).
I'll be right here to continue helping if you have any other concerns or questions about running payroll reports or any QuickBooks related. Assistance is just a post away. You have a good one.
