You can directly cancel your QBO Advanced account through the Subscription and Billing section, Georgina.
Here’s how:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online as the primary or company admin.
- Navigate to Settings and select Subscriptions and Billing.
- In the QuickBooks section, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Online. If you're canceling a trial, select Cancel your trial.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.

After you’ve canceled your account, visit the QuickBooks pricing page to subscribe to the Beginner Plan (Simple Start). Follow these steps:
- Go to the QBO pricing page and select Simple Start.
- Create a new Intuit account or sign in.
- Enter your billing information.
- Follow the prompts to complete the subscription process.
