I need to create a new accoumt

I created a quickbooks account for school, but something went wrong. I need help deleting it and trying again.

I’m glad to see new faces here. I can help remove your company file and start over.


Did you subscribed to the regular QuickBooks Online version? If yes, there isn’t a need to delete your account. As long as you’ve set it up within the 60-day period from the sign-up date, you can use the Purge feature to start again.

 

Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online Company, and go to your company’s dashboard.
  2. Change the homepage in your URL to purgecompany (Example: the URL shows https://qbo.intuit.com/c28/app/homepage, change to: https://qbo.intuit.com/c28/app/purgecompany.
  3. Read the summary and the information you need to know before doing this.
  4. Once done, type Yes in the text box, and then click OK.
  5. If necessary, select the type of business, and then the accounts associated with it.
  6. Once done, click Wipe Data.

If you’ve created your company file beyond the 60-day period, you’ll want to cancel it, and subscribe to a new one. Check out this article for more details:
