I need to export a .csv file to make filing my PFMLA report easier. How do I get this data from my QB payroll?

You can use payroll reports in QuickBooks Online to get the PFMLA data. However, when exporting reports, this will automatically open an Excel spreadsheet, not a CSV file.

What you need to do after the report is successfully exported is to save it as CSV file. To do that, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Reports menu and choose the payroll report you want from the list.
2. From the upper right hand section of the report, click the Share drop-down.
3. Pick Export to Excel from the options.
