I need to have a printed total of monies appli2d to incoices by one user for the year

A clear overview of the total payments made toward invoices by a specific user or customer over the year is essential for monitoring your business performance. I'm here to walk you through the steps to generate this report in QuickBooks Online, Lucas. Together, we'll make sure you get what you need.

We can generate the Transaction List by Date report and customize it to display the amounts your users or customers have paid.

Here's how we can pull up the report:

1. Head to the Reports menu, then enter Transactions List by Date on the search bar.
2. Set the Report period to This year.
3. Click the Filter option. Choose Transaction type on the first box.
4. Select Equals on the second box. Tick the Invoice and Payment if you want to show the invoices and payment. However, this will result in a doubled total amount, as the system will include the amounts shown in the report.
5. Hit the Add another filter section. Choose Customer, then Equals.
6. Pick your preferred customer.
    

If you want to see the total payment amount, select the Payment option only. Once you finish customizing, let's print it out so you'll have a copy for your records. Please see the attached screenshot for visual reference.
