I need to know why I was charged $21.72 this month for my Quickbooks subscription? My monthly fee is normally $15.20. Please help me understand why the price went up!

In addition to @MarshallA's answer, there are several reasons your monthly charge increases. Either you may have availed the discounted monthly subscription or subscribed to payroll. You can check our products and pricing through this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/.
You can also check your subscription rates and charges within your account. Here's how:
Go to the Gear icon, then select Account and Settings.
Click Billing Subscription.
Select View Payment History.
