In addition to @MarshallA's answer, there are several reasons your monthly charge increases. Either you may have availed the discounted monthly subscription or subscribed to payroll. You can check our products and pricing through this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/.

How old is your QBO account? It is possible your discounted price is expired and you have to pay the regular rate now. You may need a workaround to keep your cost low.
