I need to scrub my account, but it won't let me because I've been active for more than 60 days AND I do not have a credit card based subscription. FAQ's limited on this.

Hello ghayes,

Thanks for visiting the Community! I have some details to share about deleting your QuickBooks Online account.

You'll only be able to wipe your data if you've been active for less than 60 days. Since your subscription is more than the stipulated time, you need to cancel your account and start a new one.

To cancel your account:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then Account and Settings.
  3. In the Billing & Subscription section, click the Cancel Subscription link.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts and it'll walk you through the rest of the process.

To start a new account:

  1. Visit this link: http://quickbooks.intuit.com/signup/.
  2. Use the same username and password.
  3. Follow the prompts and set up a new account.
