I noticed with the new app update that when I receive a pmt for a check in the app that the only acct available for the check to go into is cash. No undeposited funds

I'm not sure how to accept a check since it's not cash and traditionally it's always gone into undeposited funds until I deposit the check. Is there a way to get undeposited funds or even the bank account to show back up in the app when receiving a payment through the app?

The new update of QuickBooks Online mobile app still have the feature to record your payments to the Undeposited Funds account. Since you're not seeing this option, we'll need to troubleshoot your QBO mobile app to ensure it displays the correct interface correctly.

There are times when our device applications didn't update correctly and have caused malfunctions to some features. To fix this, you'll need to uninstall and reinstall the QBO app. Additionally, you'll need to ensure your QBO mobile app is compatible with your device. Here's an updated system requirements for QBO mobile app:

  • iOS and iPadOS version 16.0 and above.
  • Android version 9 and above.

While waiting to reinstall your QBO mobile app, you can consider recording the payment into the undeposited funds through QBO website in your desktop device.

After recording your payments to your Undeposited Funds, you can consider running an undeposited funds report or make a bank deposit in QBO website.

Feel free to reply if you have additional concerns besides recording payments in the Undeposited Funds account.
