I renewed my payroll subscription, says Subscription Inactive. I have updated my payroll, my desktop & my service key. What's Missing? Why wont this work?

It's nice to have you here in the Community, @potpourrillc.

 

In this case, let's log in and log out in the account maintenance page to refresh the QuickBooks Desktop. After that, check the status of your payroll. If you can see Active, then your good to go. 

 

However, if the status still Inactive, I recommend getting in touch with our Support Team. They can access the account and renew your subscription successfully in a safe environment. 

 

Here's how :

  1. Click the Help menu located in the upper right corner.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Select Contact Us, then enter your concern in the Description field and hit Continue

     4. Pick either Star messaging or Get a Callback

There is no Contact US in the Quickbooks help box, Lol

You can get in touch with our chat support instead, Timdevery.

 

I'll show you how:

  1. Open this link.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop.
  3. Click Start a message in the Basic, Enhanced or Standard Payroll row.
