I sent an invitation to my accountant already, but it seems to have gotten lost or misplaced. How do I send another (second) invitation to the same accountant?

I'll help you resend the invitation email, clevesmj.

 

There are four common reasons why the invitation email gets lost or not received by the accountant user. These are:

  • The invitation might be in their junk email or spam folder.
  • The company’s email address is incorrectly formatted in Company settings.
  • The recipient’s mail servers might be blocking the email.
  • The invitation may have expired if it was not accepted within 2 to 5 days.

To resend it, you can follow these steps:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Under Your Company, select Account and Settings.
  3. Click Company on the left panel.
  4. Click the pencil icon in the Contact info section.
  5. Even if it looks correct, carefully re-enter the company email address. Be sure not to use any extra characters or leave any blank spaces before, within, or after the address.
  6. Click Save, and then Done.
  7. Click the Gear icon again, and then select Manage Users.
  8. Find the Action column for the accountant.
  9. Select Resend invite to have an invitation email sent to your accountant.

Under actions, I only have Delete and Make Master Admin.  Where did my resend link go?

If you no longer see the option to Resend invite and the status shows Active, the user already accepted the invitation. Also, they already set up the login.


However, if the user didn’t get the email, delete the name and enter it again. I’ll help and guide you through the steps.

 

  1. Tap the Gear icon at the top to choose Manage users under Your Company.
  2. Go to the user you wish to remove and click the Edit drop-down under Action to select Delete.
  3. Next, click the Add user button in the upper right to open the Select user type page.
  4. From there, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
