I'm here to provide some information about moving your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) data to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Please note that data cannot be directly converted from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online if you originally subscribed to QBSE through the Apple App Store, but you can manually export and import key data to set up your new account.
To switch to QBO, you can cancel your QBSE subscription. To ensure you can still access your company information, export your reports, such as your Profit and Loss, Transactions, and Mileage (if applicable), to Excel before canceling your current subscription. Here's how:
Sign up for the QuickBooks Online Simple Start + Payroll plan. You can do this on the QuickBooks website. Once your QuickBooks Online account is active, decide which data you want to import. You can either:
After you successfully set up your QuickBooks Online account and transferred your data, you can cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription through the Apple store.
