I upgraded to Online Plus are there any special steps to getting access to the new features such as projects?

I have restarted Safari, cleared my cache, logged out and still don't have the projects option in the dashboard or bookmarks list.

It's good to have you here in the Community, @david-gomepllc-c. I'm here to lend a hand so you’ll be able to see Projects in QuickBooks Online.

You have the option to turn on the Projects feature through the Account and Settings page. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and settings.
  3. Go to the Advanced menu.
  4. Click pencil icon in the Projects section to expand its details.
  5. Turn on Organize all job-related activity in one place.
  6. Select Save then Done and close your settings.

After that, continue by creating a project and adding income and expense transactions. For the step-by-step guide, you can refer to this article.

Also, you can refer to this article to learn more about how to use projects to calculate your profits and grant costs in QBO: Track income, costs, and profitability by project.

Stay in touch if you have any other questions or concerns with features in QBO. I’ll be right here to answer them for you. Enjoy the rest of the day.
