I use my desktop the most of the time but when I travel I will need to access my account with my laptop. It's not letting me and not sending me a 6 digit code?

how do I get my laptop registered so that I can use when i travel?

Once you login to a new device, our system will require verification on your attempt accessing the account. The six-digit code will be sent to your registered email address or phone number linked to QBO.

 

We want to help you with your concern about the security verification. However, we need more information about it to provide the best resolution.

 

Did you send the code to your mobile or email address? Any additional information will help ensure a timely solution to this.

 

For now, I suggest logging into your desktop and review your account details. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Manage users.
  3. Review the email address.
  4. Click Edit if necessary to make some changes. 

If the information is correct and you're still unable to receive the code, I suggest checking the Spam section of your email account. There are times the system will block the messages and move them to a different location.

I added a user hoping to be able to access my account from my laptop.

It ask for the verification using my cell number and still give me error and doesn't not send me a 6 digit code
