I want to fire my accountant and he is the master administrater on my account

Hi @info-heirloomfur , change your QB master admin.

Here's how the Master Administrator when logged into QuickBooks Online can transfer right to an existing Company Administrator:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Manage Users.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow in the Action column and choose Make master admin.
  4. Select Make master admin on the pop-up that appears.
  5. An invitation email will then be sent to the user to accept the role.

You could need this link Transfer master admin roles . Comment back, cheers. (Give thumb or solved button if it is helpful).

@info-heirloomfur

If your accountant is refused to transfer the role and you still hold a Company Admin login, you should open a new QBO account.

Then you may have 2 options:

1. Utilize a 3rd party migration tool

2. Purchase a 3rd party migration service.

Hi there, rorschachrev.

Let me help you access the broken help links.

Most issues in QuickBooks Online are caused by the data in your cache. We can perform some basic troubleshooting steps to fix this. Using a private window will not save data in the cache, simply press the following shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift N

If it works, please clear the cache on your browser to delete some outdated files that might cause a small error in accessing the links.

I'll be waiting for your comment if you need clarifications. Have a nice day!
