I work from two different sites and need to access QuickBooks from both, How do I set this up?

I need to be able to access our business account both at the office and at home since I work from both sites.  How do I add my home computer in order to sign in from home?

Hello rosie,

I've got good news for you!

You don't need to add your home computer to be able to access QuickBooks Online (QBO) in both locations. QBO is a web based program, so as long as both computers are connected to the internet, you can access your account through this link: https://qbo.intuit.com/qbo19/login?webredir.

Just make sure to type in the correct login credentials and you should be good to go. Leave a comment down below if you have other questions, I'm here for you.

Thanks for adding to the conversation, Bellaire,

I can add a bit more about accessing your QuickBooks Online account.

Just like what my peer Jeno addressed on his answer above, QBO is a web-based program which means you can access your account through any browsers as long as your connected to the internet.

Since you're using a laptop to access your account, you'll only need to make sure your device follows the system requirements for QuickBooks Online and has the most recent versions for each supported browser. You may want to check this article to review our minimum system requirements: System Requirements for QuickBooks Online

To log in using a regular browser:

  1. Go to this link: https://c73.qbo.intuit.com/qbo73/login?webredir
  2. Enter your login credentials.
  3. Click on the Sign in button.

That should do point you in the right direction, Bellaire. Please let me know if there's anything you need with Quickbooks. I'm always around to get you back on track.

Hello there, @Brittany1.

It's my pleasure to help share information about accessing QuickBooks/programs to a different location.

As mentioned above, QBO can be accessed anywhere (except for the banned countries) as long as there is an internet connection. With regards to the downloaded program, if you're referring to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), you can access it as well if you're using the hosting services.

For further details about hosting services, you may check this article: Intuit Hosting Service.

Don't hesitate to drop a comment below if you have any other QuickBooks concerns. Wishing you continued success!
