I would like to run a report showing all items on one bill for each vendor, not just the total of the bill. How do I do that?

I’m happy to see you in the Community, kris2.

I can see this is your first question, so let me welcome you to the QuickBooks family. I can help find a report that will show all items for each vendor.

Pulling it up in QuickBooks is a breeze. Let me walk you through the steps on how to refine the report.

  1. In your QBO company, go to the Reports panel on the left.
  2. Enter Purchases by Product/Service Detail in the search field.
  3. Click on the Customize tab in the upper right hand.
  4. Go to the Filter section.
  5. Mark the box for Transaction Type, then choose Bill.
  6. Check the box for Product/Service, and select All.

  7. Click on Run report.
  8. In the lower right hand, click on the Gear icon.
  9. Mark the boxes for Product/Service and Vendor.

  10. Select Vendor in the Group by drop-down.

With these steps, you should see all the information you need.

Please let me know how it goes after following the resolution I provided. I want to make sure you’re all set with this concern. I’ll be on the lookout for your response.
