To fix the issue, I suggest resetting the Intuit ID settings from the Help icon. This way, you're able to reset your sign-in credentials and change the email under send forms.
Here's how:
1. Click the Help icon.
2. Select Reset Intuit ID Settings.
3. From Reset Intuit ID Settings, type YES to confirm.
4. Click the OK button.
Please check this article on how customize email templates and use them to send messages from QuickBooks: Create custom email templates in QuickBooks Desktop.
Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. Wishing you and your business continued success.
When I go to my Intuit Account -- I hit the ? for help. It takes me to another page -- there is no where to click Restting Intuit ID Settings. I did have to type in Reset Intuit ID Settings and it just gave me more suggestions but nothing is working. When I am in QB Desktop Pro 2019, and try to change that email it automatically directs me to sign in to Intuit with an ID that no longer exists.. How do I change that ID if it doesn't bring me to the page you are describing?
I know a way where to update this information, BITWMD.
Aside from doing this inside QuickBooks, you can also change your user ID in CAMPS. This page is a great venue to manage your Intuit account information. Below are the steps to get in there:

I was signed into the Camps Account. What I finally figured out is that my old accountant had signed up an account with that old email address. I cannot take him off because he is the one that signed up for it. I did however change my email address on that account (both were already merged). I tried to finish my task on QB and it froze up.... And that didn't work either!!!
I am so exhausted in trying to get something to work.
Let's get this fixed so QuickBooks 2019 will no longer freeze when trying to change the email address in your account, @BITWMD.
Here are the several possible causes for this issue:
To help fix this, let's first download and install the QuickBooks Tool Hub file. Then, save it to your Downloads folder or your Windows desktop. After that, let's run Quick Fix my Program from the Tool Hub. This ends all processes running in the background and does a mini repair on the software. Here's how:
If the first step doesn't work, run the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool. This automatically diagnose and fix issues with Microsoft components the software uses. Let me guide you how.
However, if the same thing happens, I'd suggest performing the third to fifth solutions through this article: What To Do If You Can't Open QuickBooks Desktop or the Program Stopped Working Frozen.
Once fixed, you'll be able to update your User ID in CAMPs. Just either follow the steps provided by my peer MikiD above or go through this article: Change Your Email.
You can always manage your account details in one place within CAMPs. To learn more about this portal, visit this article: What is CAMPs and How Do I Use It?.
Just click the Reply button if you need additional assistance. Take care always, @BITWMD.
No, it didn't work because I found out that an old accountant opened a file name that is listed but I cannot change anything in it without a password, etc. I still edited the email address but still having the same issues with QB
I downloaded the QB tool hub and tried to fix my file but it keeps saying there is no problems ...
but apparently there is. Right now I am working around sending out emails because I have no better solutions!
Hi BITWMD,
It's good to know that we found the reason why you're unable to change the email. We are a few more steps to the solution. And thanks for taking the alternative to send your invoices outside QuickBooks.
Based on what you saw, the QuickBooks license is associated with your accountant. For this reason, I would recommend contacting our Support, so they can assist you with this situation since this is already involving license ownership. Though your accountant appears to be the owner, you can still claim for it since the data of the company file is yours. However, there are certain things that we need to check out, and this is why I recommend calling Support.
Once the license is already associated with your email, you can go back and sign in the My Company screen.
Please feel free to reach out if you have additional questions about it updating your email.
