In QBOE, Reports and Taxes are not working.

I can provide you the steps needed to reset the mobile app.


Log in to your QuickBooks Online app and follow the steps below.

  1. Click the Help menu and select Reset App Data.
  2. Close and reopen the app to check if that works.

Check out this article that covers more about QuickBooks Online app: QuickBooks App for Windows and Mac: General support. While this is designed for Windows and Mac, much of the information and steps are relevant for the Mobile app.

I'm here to help make sure that you can access your Reports and Taxes menu by performing some troubleshooting steps.

 

Just to clarify and for me to give you the right amount of information, may I know if you received any error message when trying to access your reports and taxes? Any additional information will be much appreciated.

 

In the meantime, let's try logging in to your QBO account using a different or a private browser. There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, thus causing some errors and/or unusual responses.

 
To use a private browser, here's how: 

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Once logged in, go back and try to open the Reports and Taxes menu.

 

If it works, return to your default browser and perform clear cache to remove temporary internet files on your computer. Before doing so, make sure to take note of your saved passwords and URLs.

Thanks for your suggestions. I can confirm that this is happening with the QBOE application for Mac. The website is fine. I uninstalled and re-installed - still having the same problem. Thanks! Jeff

Performance issues in QuickBooks Online are resolved by doing basic troubleshooting steps. As an initial step, let's start with resetting the app data to clear cache and refresh it into its default state.

 

Once done, please check the Sales Tax Liability if the taxes are posting. If the problem persists, I recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Online Support and start messaging them so they can communicate with you with your most convenient time.

 

To reach us, please follow these steps:

 

  1. Sign into your QuickBooks Online Company.
  2. Select Help(question mark icon) at the top right.
  3. Select Contact usto connect with a live support agent.
  4. Enter a brief description of your concern then hit Continue.
  5. Choose Start messaging.
