Intuit Id

I had a bookkeeper help set up my company file. She suddenly passed away a few months ago. I had the company file login passwords but not her intuit id login info.  Now, any time I try an add an email for sending forms or other changes, it asked for me to sign in with the intuit id and has her email address prefilled with no option to use a different email address for logging in. How can I change that?

Thanks

Re: Intuit Id

Sorry to hear about your bookkeeper's passing, KEG1.

You can open your My Company settings and log out your bookkeeper from there. Then, sign in using your Intuit ID.

  1. From the Company menu, select My Company.
  2. Click the currently logged-in user ID in the upper-right hand corner.
  3. Click Sign Out.
  4. Select Sign in and enter your Intuit ID.

If you don’t remember your ID and password, just click on I forgot my user ID and password.

If you can't log in, please reach out to our phone or chat team, so they can help you further. They have access to accounts, and they can guide to transfer ownership of the account when necessary.

I hope you can find a new bookkeeper soon. We're just right here if you need help.
