Is Adding a new user broken? Every time I do that I see a modal that says "Select User Type" and there is no drop down or anything to select. I tried Safari

Tried two browsers, Safari and Chrome. Trying to add my wife with no success

I'm here to help ensure you're able to select a user type in QuickBooks Online, jeremybunruh-gma.

 

Missing options in QuickBooks Online are usually the result of outdated or corrupt cache files in your web browser. Not to worry, you can clear them in just a few easy steps.

 

You can press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page. If you're still getting the same result, we can do some of the basic troubleshooting steps. You can use these shortcut keys depending on the browser you're using:

 

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.

 

Once signed in, go back to add a new user and check the user type option from there. If it rectifies the issue, go back to your main portal and clear its cache to remove the browser's history or you can press CTRL+Shift and Delete key on your keyboard altogether.
