Is anyone else furious about the extortion Intuit is forcing on QBO users to force an upgrade to QBO Advanced - a 250% increase over current Plus pricing? SPEAK OUT!

Hello, rmason.

I appreciate you contacting the Community and sharing your input. I hear you and I'd like to provide some information on QuickBooks Online Advanced.

I'd first like to mention, you will not be forced to upgrade to the new Advanced version. You can keep your current subscription and nothing will change. All of the features you already have will be available and the price will remain the same. If you're concerned about the usage limits for Simple Start, Essentials, and Plus, you will be able to keep items that have exceeded the allowance for Chart of Accounts, Classes/Locations, and Users. You can use and change any exponent in these areas, you just wouldn't be able to make inactive then active again, or add any new item. You can view your current usage by:

1. Clicking the Gear icon in the top right corner.

2. Choose Account and Settings.

3. Select Usage.

If you need more than 250 accounts, 40 Classes or Locations, and 5 users, the upgrade would be in order. You can find out more about the usage limits by following this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Help-Articles/What-are-usage-limits-in-QuickBooks-Online/m-p....

Please comment below if you have any questions. Take care.

Yes, annoyed! And, I upgraded weeks ago for one of my clients (& have paid for it) and now QBO is saying it's going to delete all of my users over 5 as of tonight. So, what the heck! And of course they are closed for the long weekend and now I'm wondering if I'm going to have to redo everything we've already set up.

Why are we paying for the Advanced version if it's only allowing 5 users?! It keeps telling me I need to upgrade (& won't let me add users), yet when I go to "upgrade again," it takes me to my account page which obviously shows it's already upgraded.

UGHHHHHHH.
