Is it just me or does the new app suck? I can’t see any reports now and I can’t figure out how to categorize expenses that come from the linked back accounts

Welcome to the Community, @dickerson-jake.

Since you can't see any Reports in the QuickBooks Online App, let's perform some troubleshooting to help reload your data in a clean state. After troubleshooting, then I can help you categorize expenses from the Online Bank Feed.

To clear the cache in the App, go to the Help tab in the top menu, then click on Reset App Data. I've provided a screenshot below:

Once completed, go to the Reports tab in the left-hand menu and see if the data populates. For more troubleshooting options, click here.

The process of categorizing your bank transactions is the same as the web browser. To view your new transactions, go to the Banking tab (or the Transactions tab) and highlight the account you want to work in. Once the tile turns blue, then press on the For Review tab to review your new transactions. Here's where you can select Add, Match, or View your transactions and you can also edit them before putting them in your register. Here's a Community Article that goes more into detail about this process: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

If you need further assistance, please let me know by leaving me a Reply! Have a great rest of your week.
