Is it normal to take hours for the receipt report to generate for pulling for one year. Should I just generate for each month instead.

Is it normal to take hours for the receipt report to generate for pulling for one year. Should I just generate for each month instead.

Hello, @mcfarlane-tami.

 

I'm here to ensure you're able to run the report without latency in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). So you can generate and download the report either monthly or yearly. 

 

No, it's not normal. Usually, any reports in QBSE will load within 1 min- 5 mins depends on the number of receipts. Delaying to open Receipts Reports or latency issues will happen if your browser stored a lot of caches.

 

With this, I'd suggest doing some tricks to get the issue sorted. To start, please press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page. 

 

If the issue continues, let's log in to your account via incognito. These browsers won't save any cache and cookies. Feel free to use these shortcut keys:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

 

Once signed in, re-open the report. If it's sorted out, please return it to your regular browser and clear the cache. If the concern keeps going, you may also try accessing your account using another supported browser.
