Is there a report in QBO that gives me dollar value of inventory per item before and after a physical count?

The closest report you can try to run is the Physical Inventory Worksheet report. You can customize the inventory report and add columns for Physical Count, Price, etc.

For the before and after a physical count, filtering the dates for this report is unavailable. The option available for the dates is for the changes you make to the items and when you create them.

Here's how to run the report:

1. On the left navigation bar, click Reports.
2. Go to the Standard tab.
3. Below Sales and Customers, select Physical Inventory Worksheet.
4. Click Customize.
5. Below Rows/Columns, put a check mark on the columns you want to add in the report.
6. Below Filter, configure the dates.
7. Click Run report.
