Is there a way of changing the sub-account of a batch? I have created a whole lot of accounts and want to move them all to be sub-accounts of the same account

I’d be glad to assist you on how to change your primary accounts to sub-accounts, @bpon4425.

Currently, you cannot change the sub-account in batch. Although, you can do that manually by changing the account type first before making it as a sub-accounts for the parent account. I’ll show you the steps below.

First, change account types.

To change the account type of the accounts, start with the sub-accounts, and then, when all of them have been changed, change the parent account:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Locate the first sub-account to change.
  3. From the Action column drop-down menu, select Edit.
  4. In the Account dialog, clear the Is sub-account checkbox.
  5. Select the new Account Type from the drop-down menu.
  6. Click the appropriate Detail Type from the drop-down list.
  7. Select Save and Close. You are prompted that changing the Account Type may affect your accounting and reporting.
  8. Click Yes in the prompt to change the account.

Repeat these steps for the remaining sub-accounts, and then change the account type of the parent account.

Return accounts to sub-account status

Once all the accounts reflect the same account type, you can edit the sub-accounts to identify them as sub-accounts again and link them back to the parent account.

Next, to return accounts to sub-account status:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts.
  3. Locate an account to identify as a sub-account again.
  4. From the Action column drop-down menu, select Edit.
  5. In the Account dialog, select the Is sub-account checkbox.
  6. Select the Parent account from the drop-down list.
  7. Click Save.

Repeat these steps for all the sub-accounts.

I know how to do it manually, the question was particularly regarding doing a batch and so unfortunatelyu the answer is "Currently, you cannot change the sub-account in batch."
