I'm glad to help you transfer your data from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Yes, you can export out your QBDT 2013 data to QBO. Since your QBDT version is outdated, you may need to use an upgraded/latest version of the software. But no worries, you can download a free trial version and use it in transferring your files.
Before that, secure a backup copy of your QBDT company to save the data. I'll guide you on how.
You can also open this article as your reference: Create a Backup of your Company File.
Once completed, you can download a free trial account of the most updated version of QBDT, then restore the backup file.
Finally, you're now ready to start migrating your data. For the detailed instructions, open this link: Move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online.
As you start working with QBO, you can check out the topics from our help articles in case you need related resources in the future.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you again. If you have any other QuickBooks questions, please feel free to add a comment below. Have a good day!
