Good day, @waldencannabis.

QuickBooks is sensitive when it comes to login actions. You can only enter the account's password, and not your employee's login details.

The Audit Log allows you to keep track of your activities, where you can see who made changes to your books and what they did. This also includes the time in and time out of the user into the system.

To learn more about the Audit log, check these articles:

I've also added these articles that talks about the different type of users that you can add on your account, in case you need then in the future:

Let me know in the comment section if there's anything I can help you with. I'd be here for you. Have a great day!

Yes, there is something more you can help me with.  My audit log says an employee logged in at 3:40am and made three payments over the next few minutes.  The employee says they made these payments a week prior.  Is there any possibility that these payments were created one week prior to them showing up in the audit log?

Thanks for getting back to us, waldencannabis.

I understand that this may be a bit confusing.

The data on the audit log is real-time based on the activities made on your account. Any changes made will automatically reflect on the said report.

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to see if the incorrect dates showing is caused by a browser error. The first one is by using an incognito window. From there, you can pull up again the audit log.

Second, please clear the cache. This is a junk file on your browser that can cause errors in QuickBooks Online. Lastly, make sure that the browser you're using is updated.

If the same thing happens, please reach out to our Customer Support Team so they can further check this issue. Simply go to Help and click Contact Us.

I'll always be here if you need anything else. Wishing you all the best!
