I completely understand how frustrating it can be when you’re trying to connect your Joist account to QuickBooks, but it does not go as planned. Let me provide some clarity on this issue and walk you through the steps we can take to resolve it together.

 

To start, if you are using QuickBooks Solopreneur, please be aware that it does not currently support direct integration with Joist. As a workaround, you can export your transactions from Joist and manually import them into QuickBooks Solopreneur.

 

However, if you are using a higher version of QuickBooks Online (QBO), such as Simple Start, Essentials, Plus, or Advanced, I recommend reaching out to the Joist support team to confirm the compatibility requirements needed to connect your Joist account to QBO. They have the tools to conduct a detailed review of your account, identifying the root cause of the problem and guiding you through the appropriate steps to resolve it.
