Good afternoon, @dcullen.

How are you doing today? I hope all is well.

CVV code's can no longer be saved into the system. This would violate the Payment Applications Best Practices guidelines for handling credit card information handed down by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) for software providers.

To meet Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements, Intuit has partnered with SecurityMetrics. You can create a SecurityMetrics account to purchase the security package that best fits your business needs. Intuit and its products are listed as compliant on the PCI Security Standards Council website.

How to create your SecurityMetrics account:

  1. Create your SecurityMetrics account to purchase the security package that best fits your business needs.
  2. Go to SecurityMetrics.
  3. Select Get Started, then click on Create Account
  4. Fill out all the fields.
  5. Tap on Create Account.
  6. Follow the on-screen steps for PCI.

If you have questions, contact SecurityMetrics Support.

For more information on how to maintain payment security, check out the QuickBooks PCI Service FAQs guide. From there, you’ll also find answers to frequently asked questions.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns. I'm happy to help any time. Take care!
