Last year I talked to a cust service rep who said we are eligible for a discount every 2 years. Today I called and the people I talked to had never heard of this. Help?

Do you still remember the representative you spoke with?


The discounts are usually offered to new customers the time you sign in or purchase QuickBooks. I recommend contacting them again to review the notes of your previous conversation. You can provide the case number to easily determine and check if the representative confirm about the discount. 


Here’s how: 

 

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Enter “Discount confirmation” in the field.
  4. Hit Let’s talk.
  5. Choose to Get a callback.

Unfortunately I don't remember who I talked with since it was over a year ago.  I don't know that I have a case number either but even if I did, can something be looked up from that long ago?  Should I call in or try and chat with someone and see if they can see notes on my account from a year ago?

I would definitely recommend reaching out to support as my colleague above stated. The agent you speak/chat with will be able to access your account and should be able to see all calls. interactions on record.
