Multiuser Admin Mode Enabled

I have 3 users license and I'd like all 3 users to have full access. I have Multiuser Admin Mode enabled but it doesn't seem to work. Other users don't see the memorized transactions and none of us are able to "save for accountant", it is grayed out. How do I fix this?

Re: Multiuser Admin Mode Enabled

Hello there, 93dmw.

I'm glad you reached out to us. Allow me to share some information about managing QuickBooks users and restrictions.

Let's verify if users is set to have access to All areas of QuickBooks. This access allows users to view all transactions in different reports, while searching transactions or any other activities.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Company menu.
  2. Select Users and Passwords.
  3. To edit a user, double click the Username.
  4. From the Choose access type drop down, choose your preferred access type.
  5. Click Save.

To be more familiar with QuickBooks login and restrictions, here's an article that you can refer to: QuickBooks Desktop Users and Restrictions.

I'd also like to share this great resource to know more about navigating QuickBooks Desktop for Mac (page 271 for to know more about Users and Passwords): QuickBooks Desktop for Mac User's Guide.

In case you need additional assistance with this concern, feel free to reach out to our Customer Care Team. To reach them you can follow the steps, provided in this link: Contact the QuickBooks Desktop Customer Support Team.

This should get you on the right track. Stay in touch with me if you have any other questions about processing payments. I'm always around to help.

Re: Multiuser Admin Mode Enabled

Multiuser admin only allows one person to administer settings - no one else can log in while in this mode.  Exit admin mode on the logged in machine and everyone else can log in. I think its an option in the File menu (I'm doing some disk stuff and can't run it right now).
