At this time, you can transfer the data manually. You can export the data from your QuickBooks Online (QBO) Plus trial version, then import it to your QBO Essentials.

Please know that the Essentials version doesn't have the inventory feature. That being said, you won't be able to import your inventory from QBO Plus. For more information about the QBO plans and pricing, check out these articles: QBO Plan and Pricing.

I'm getting an error when trying to export and i also do not see any option to export my invoices. Luckily its a new year but that seems extremely inconvenient. It's unfortunate that there is no option to choose your version when the trial end. Feels like i got cheated into buying a more expensive non discounted package to save myself all the work I put in during those 30 days. Really wishing I didn't do the trial version. Hopefully there's a solution
Thanks for getting back to us, @joneshvacservice.
The ability to downgrade a QuickBooks Online (QBO) Plus version to Essentials is only available if the trial is not yet ended. Also, you can only export reports, lists, non-posting transactions, and attachments. The option to include invoices is currently unavailable.
To ensure that I'm on the same page, may I know if you've already subscribed to the Essentials version of QBO? If so, you need to manually enter the invoices as a workaround.
If not, you can continue signing up with the Plus and downgrade to Essentials after. This will retail all your data instead of doing the export/import process.
If you choose the second option, I highly suggest contacting our Phone Suppor team to verify and discuss if they can process a prorated refund for you. Here's how to reach them:
