Thanks for sharing your concern in the QuickBooks Community, @scotttang.
Sometimes too much cache build-up in a browser can unexpected behavior with the product. This can be the reason why you're unable to change the P&L report when selecting a tag.
To isolate and fix the issue, let's open your QBSE account in a private window. This can help us identify if the problem is cache-related. Simply press the following shortcut keys to access this mode:
If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If the same things happen, use another supported, up-to-date browser.
Moreover, you can review and download financial reports in QBSE. That way, you'll have a personal copy of the data you've entered into the program.
If you need further assistance in handling and accessing your reports, please post a reply below. I'll be around to help you. Have a wonderful day!
Hi Reymond,
Thank you for the response. I tried in a private window (I'm using Safari) and it didn't work. I also tried it in Firefox, and it still didn't work.
I wonder what else could be causing it or if there's some other user error I'm not catching. Is there another way to generate these reports or something equivalent?
Thanks again.
