Name on Email Notifications

My business partner set up all of our QuickBooks and we had a falling out shortly afterwards. I bought her share of the business. All of my payroll and taxes email reminders say ‘Dear Xxxxx’ addressed to her and I’m just not wanting to see her name at all anymore as it was a horrible ordeal for me. It’s been nearly a year and I have changed her name everywhere else but can’t find a way to change it for this email reminder on payroll and tax days. Thanks!

I can help you change the name, TCamper.


You can change it from the payroll settings. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Go to Payroll Settings.
  3. Under Business Information, click Contact Information.
  4. Change the info under Primary Contact.
  5. Click OK.

If you can still see the same name, she might be the authorized user. We can change it in CAMPS. This is an Intuit portal where you can update or modify account information. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to CAMPS using your Intuit credentials. 
  2. On the Manage your QuickBooks page, select QuickBooks Online.
  3. In My Account, scroll down to the Authorized Users section.
  4. Select her name.
  5. Update the information.
  6. Click Save and Close
