Join nowHi all, I am sure this has been asked a million times, and I actually found some info, but it wasn't directly related to what I need to inquire about. Here's the deal, I am a renaissance man...and actually cash in quite well on a couple of my talents that I sell...One business is a web design company that I have been doing for a long time and is very busy, and one, just recently started up, a gardening business that just started with me doing a couple of favors for some close friends who told two friends, and "so on and so on..."
I have a QBO account that I have been using for over 10 years now for my web design company but want to be able to use it for BOTH businesses. Should I do an LLC, like, Will Keyworth, LLC, and have two divisions under that account? Someone mentioned having two departments under the one company??
Not legally, they are two different businesses and require two accounting files. They are also reported on two schedule C's when filing income tax. Two accounting files means two subscriptions in QBO
Technically (not legally in some countries), you may utilize the class/location feature available in QBO Plus and Advanced.
