I am unable to run or login for online backup within 2019 QB pro desktop. I can however login to my intuit account outside of QB .

First, let's configure certain settings for Internet Explorer so we can log in to your online backup within QuickBooks.

Then, QuickBooks opens the online backup account through Internet Explorer as the default browser. Please see the article on setting up Internet Explorer as your default browser. Lastly, you can add Intuit as a trusted site. This will prevent your browser from blocking site content.
Once done, let's set your Internet connection settings to establish a connection when accessing the Internet.
