Opening a 2nd Company in QBO

I need to open a 2nd Company on QBO but when I signed up for a second account it states that I cannot use my email as it is already in use.  I don't want to have to get a dummy email account.  Is there a way to have two separate companies, with two separate accounts on QBO but use my same email?

Opening a 2nd Company in QBO

Hi there, @BMA-Tonya.

Yes, you can have more than one QuickBooks Online company (account) with the same email address. Allow me to provide additional insights into this concern.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the QuickBooks log-in page.
  2. Select the desired plan.
  3. Click Continue without payroll if you don't need them. Click Add to plan if necessary.
  4. Check out enter other necessary details. Once asked to Create an Intuit account, click the Sign-in link to Adding a company to an existing account.
  5. Enter your existing username and password.

    When you are at the startup interview, click Already has an Intuit user ID and sign in with the same credentials you have for your current company. If you want to have two separate sets of credentials, enter a new user ID.

Please see this article for more information on how to create or add another QuickBooks Online company

If you plan to import data from a desktop version of QuickBooks, please be aware that this must be done within the first 60 days.

@BMA-Tonya

You may use one email address to open multi QBO accounts, not with QBSE.
