Our audit log users are incorrect. It is showing the wrong user for activity?

Hello, @sksmith1985.

It’s nice to have you in the Community today. I’m here to lend a hand and make sure the audit log will show the correct user for the activity.

Issue such as this can be caused by some cache and temporary internet files stored in your browser. Let’s start performing some general troubleshooting to fix the issue.

We can start by logging into QuickBooks Online in a private window. Here’s how:
•    Ctrl + Shift + P (Internet Explorer)
•    Command + Shift + N (Safari)
•    Ctrl+ Shift + N (Google Chrome)
•    Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox)

If it works, you’ll need to clear your browser’s cache to fix the unexpected behavior. Make sure to remember your saved login credentials before doing so. Here’s an article that will guide you through the process: Delete or Disable cache and temporary internet files in your web browser.

Once you’ve cleared the files, close and reopen your browser. Sign in and check if the activity now shows the right user in the audit log.

That’s it. Please keep me posted on whether or not this helps to resolve the issue. I’ll be on a look out for your response. Wishing you and your business continued success!
