Our auditors would like to reference a listing that shows our Parent & sub accounts that ties to our P&L. Is there a report that will show the account groupings?

Hello there, @kgrieve!

You have the option to pull up your Account List report. I'll be happy to help you accomplish this.

If you haven't yet, you'll need to  turn on your account number settings first. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under Your Company, select Accounts and Settings.
  3. Select the Advanced panel.
  4. Choose Chart of Accounts.
  5. Put a checkmark on the option to Enable account numbers and Show account numbers.
  6. Click Save and then Done.

Once done, you can now see the account groupings from your Chart of Accounts.

From there, let me show you how you can pull up your Account List report:

  1. Go to the Accounting page.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts.
  3. Click Run Report.

This way, you'll be able to pull up your report with the groupings of your accounts.

I've attached a couple of screenshots below for your visual reference.

Lastly, you can save this customized report for easy-viewing if needed for future use. Just click the Save customization and then locate this report on the Custom reports tab.

Fill me in if you have any other questions about reports and your chart of accounts. I'll be always happy to help you out.
