It depends on your accounting records. In the meantime, you'll can both have it on the current account or record it separately.
On the other hand, you can set a parent customer and jobs as a student.
To create a customer in QBDT:
- Tap on Customer Center, from the Customer menu.
- Click on the New Customer & Job button beside New Transactions.
- Pick on New Customer.
- Fill in the information under the New Customer window, then tap OK to save it.
To add a job into it:
- Right-click on the customer's name under the Customers & Jobs.
- Select Add job, then input the job (sub-customer) details.
- Hit OK.
