Hello,

I need a copy of Intuit's invoice to me for the monthly subscription. I've clicked on "View PDF" with both Safari & Chrome & am getting the attached error message.

Please fix asap.

PDF of invoice needed

Glad to have you here, @WhatFreshHell.

I am delighted to walk you through downloading a copy of your monthly subscription invoice.

One possible reason you're prompted with an error while trying to view your invoices is due to your Adobe Reader or PDF viewer. Ensure that is updated to the latest release version.

Here's how to update it:

  1. Open Adobe Reader on a separate window.
  2. Click Help.
  3. Select Adobe Reader.
  4. Go to the Adobe Reader Downloads page. The web page automatically detects your OS and Reader version.
  5. Choose Install Now.
  6. Open the downloaded file and follow the rest of the on-screen instruction to finish the updating process.

Once your PDF viewer is updated, set it up as a default application to open PDF documents.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Start..
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Choose System.
  4. Select Default apps.
  5. Click Choose default apps by file type.
  6. Scroll to find .pdf.
  7. Click Choose as default.
  8. Choose Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat.

On the other hand, let's go ahead and isolate this issue by performing the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Login to your QuickBooks Online account using an incognito or private browser. Kindly use either of the following shortcut keys:
    • Google Chrome, press CTRL  Shift N
    • Mozilla Firefox: press CTRL  Shift P
    • Internet Explorer: press CTRL  Shift P
    • Safari: press Command Shift N
  • If you’re able to able to view and download your account's invoices successfully, you may want to clear the cache of your regular web browsers.
  • To make sure there's no issues with your browser’s health and its compatibility with QuickBooks Online, you can also use the Browser Health Checkup Tool.
