Join nowHi there, @yuyu22.
I'm glad to see you here in QuickBooks Community.
Allow me to share some insights about what will happen when you close your company in QuickBooks Online (QBO). When you cancel your QBO subscription, your data will be available in read-only access. Though, the Intuit system keeps your data for a year before we fully delete it.
Here's how to cancel your company:
Once done, an email will be sent to the account administrator to confirm the cancellation.
For additional information on this, you can check the article: What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel?
I'm leaving you this handy article in case you'll want to resubscribe your account in the future: How to resubscribe or reactivate QuickBooks Online.
You're always welcome to come back in the Community. We are here to lend you a hand. Have a great day!
I did click the "cancel the subscription", but it did not go through. I also made a call to you guys and no one answered. I purchased on May 11, 2020, because I thought it would help me with filing the NYS-45 and Form 941, it turned out that I did not get help. That's why I want to cancel my subscription.
Please cancel the subscription and issue a refund.
Thank you.
We'll help you with the cancellation, yuyu22.

On the other hand, the data of your paid subscription will remain in read-only access for a year. I'd suggest downloading your reports for record-keeping purposes. You can resubscribe anytime within a year.
Feel free to go back to this thread if you have other questions.
i called the number, no one answered. I tried many times to cancel the subscription. Please cancel the subscription for me, or I will contact my bank company. Thanks for your time.
Hi there, yuyu22.
Thanks for stopping by the Community, unfortunately, as this is just a public forum for QuickBooks clients to post their questions and concerns, we can't cancel your subscription for you, however, I can provide you with the steps to do so on your own. Please, follow along below.
Once you're done, we'll send the account administrator an email that confirms we canceled your subscription.
Also, check out this link, while it highlights the steps I've posted above it also includes information on what happens to your data after you've cancelled, if you need to resubscribe and how to cancel a free trial.
