Let me help share some information about Price Level in QuickBooks.
If you're using the QuickBooks Pro version, the price level type option is grayed out because the type only applies a fixed percentage increase or decrease to all your standard sales prices.
However if you're using the Premier/Enterprise version, you have the option to select between Fixed % and Per Item.
