Print doesn't show up under Preferred Delivery Method, only E-mail, Mail and None. (QB Desktop)

I want to batch print invoices after creating batch invoices. The tutorial I ran gave me all the information I require, but in my customer settings Print does not show up as an option in Preferred Delivery Method (the tutorial clearly shows it). How do I get it to show up?

Re: Print doesn't show up under Preferred Delivery Method, only E-mail, Mail and None. (QB Desktop)

Hi Videstra,

In the new QuickBooks Desktop release, the only delivery methods available are E-mail and Mail.

QuickBooks used in the tutorial must be the old version. That's the reason why you aren't seeing the Print option in the Preferred Delivery Method setup in your account.

You can put a check on the "Print Later" box when creating an invoice instead. The software has implemented this sticky feature that remembers the last setting you used. It will help you not to go to each customer's profile to set up their delivery method.

Meanwhile, I will send feedback to our Product Development Team about having the Print option in the Preferred Delivery Method setup back. We don't have the timeline as to when it'll show up. But, rest assured we are working on adding new features requested by our customers.

If you have any printing or set up questions, please let us know. We are here to help.

Wierd - I just got a call from QB Customer support. They did a screen sharing session via www.support.me and showed me some log files that showed 81% company file damage. After a few minutes the call started to feel VERY scammy and I disconnected. Are my suspicions founded?
