The default location for QuickBooks file is in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Intuit\QuickBooks\<company name>. Though, you can put it in another file location.
You'll want to make sure all your data file is in one folder location.
However, if you still unable to locate the file. We can go back to your QuickBooks program and restore it. For the steps on how to copy the file to the desktop, I'm adding an article that can help:
