Join nowI have 2 qbw files for the same company. How can I merge/combine them into a single file for the company?
Thank you for posting in the Community., @mrhicks.
Allow me to help share some insights about combining two accounts in QuickBooks Desktop.
Merging two company files in QuickBooks Desktop is currently unavailable. However, you can manually check the transaction created from one company and recreate it to another company.
If you're using the QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, it has a built-in feature that allows you to combine reports from multiple company files.
Also, if you're using QuickBooks Desktop Pro or Premier, you can use third-party apps that integrate well with QuickBooks so you can combined reports. While we can't recommend a specific program, you can browse our different options for third-party apps from the Apps Center.
For future reference, here's an article where you can copy multiple transactions from one company to another: Copy Multiple Transactions From One Company File To Another.
I'll be here if you have follow-up concerns about this or should you need anything else. Have a good one.
You may have 2 options:
1. Utilize a 3rd party tool to migrate data between your files.
