Quickbooks Conversion Tool will nnot let me change User ID or enter a password. It has a permanent User ID of "Crystal". Is there a solution to this?

I've got your back, @califmc.

 

You're unable to change the User ID when using the QuickBooks Conversion Tool to convert your company file. You only have the option to change the password.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Open Sage and the company file you want to convert.
  2. Click Main and select Maintain.
  3. Choose Users, then Setup Security and select the Data Access/Crystal Reports tab.
  4. Select With the following login information.
  5. Click Change to set a new password.
  6. Once done, you can now close Sage.

This was the first thing I did, and the Conversion Tool has "Crystal" as the User ID and will not let me change it or the password.
